Hineuwera's Recount Story.
My craft: As we were driving to the snow, my head was spinning and I was getting butterflies in my stomach. I felt like I wanted to spew up because it was are really long trip. As we finally got there I saw a lot of people putting on their warm clothes and getting their gears ready to go in and start skiing. People were crowded around the entrance rushing to get in the snow to have fun. After that the gates slowly started to open as people were pulling them and stomping their feet as loud as they could, as the gates finally opened everyone started to run in and started to play around.
As we started to go in, we were throwing snowballs at each other and making snowmen in the snow. After that we had a competition who can make the best snowmen and it was so fun because we were busting each other's snowmen! After that we got to have races in the snow and we had to see who was the fastest skier in our family. Later on we had lunch outside and it was so delicious we had sandwiches, drinks, pies and cookies.
Later on we went back in there and started to ski. We were throwing snow at each other and having a blast! It was the best day I ever had. We were having so much fun making snowmen and throwing snowballs at each other everyone was having so much fun that we had more races and more excitement throughout the day. It was the best day that I ever had in my entire life and I will always remember it when I’m older.
Later on we went home because everybody was getting tired and sleepy, so we packed all of our stuff and put it in our car. After that my family went in the car and we started to go back home. It was covered with darkness when we left and everybody was tired. I was thinking about the day that I had today I was thinking it’s not all about winning it’s about having fun and sharing the joy with each other and that is what I learnt today. As we were getting closer to our house my brother and sister were fast asleep they really had a good day today. Finally we got home and my Mum and Dad tucked all of us to bed and said “Goodnight.’’ We all went to bed and had a good rest.
