Description about the Cornucopia
Hineuwera’s Hunger Games Description
A mist of terror fills our eyes while our brains visualise death. What do I do? The sun shining on my back and I see the light reflect on the bow and arrow for me to grab. The countdown starts. I see the tributes stare at me with their evil eyes as if they are going to kill me first. The cornucopia teasing me to grab the source of equipment. The booming voice says out loud “ LET THE HUNGER GAMES BEGIN!”
Tributes sprinting to the the equipment as they target who to kill first. The wind brushes towards me, telling me to run as fast as I can. My heart pumping a million miles an hour as I race across, avoiding people who want to kill me. As I run across the field I already see dead bodies hovering over the grass and it looks like everyone has been killed.
I have a chance to escape from this horrible moment. I see trees and bushes in front of me and I can get a glimpse at the lake. This makes me want to survive more and take my opportunity to stay alive, but it won’t be for a long time.
As I head into the bushes, I have one last look behind me. Dead tributes’ bodies scattered around the field. I see a bow and arrow, I grab it with shivering hands.

Geometrical Pattern
Today I had to create and describe a geometrical pattern. This is the shape I created using folding symmetry. I can see that my shape has 2 lines of symmetry. To create my pattern, I folded my paper twice, cut out designs and unfolded it again. This is a fun and easy geometry activity that really got us thinking.
